My hope? That Specter is so completely soulless and bereft of principle that he can be led into supporting true Democratic programs and issues as deftly as he was able to alternate positions on important issues in the past.
Hope springs eternal.
Of course, if he proves to be the wolf in the henhouse, it will be up to us to make sure we send the message that WE decide who to support, and WE determine who is elected - not Obama and/or the DNC.
Specter, contradictorily to his apparent single bullet cover up,also gave author Grodin hints about the wasp's nest of JFK's autopsy in which one finally suspects that wounds were covered over and partly created.
