I walked into the theatre knowing nothing about the book except its popularity. The images of kids killing kids was disturbing. Thankfully, civilization hasn't stooped that low yet. It struck me as a tad Twilight-ish. Also, as bankers idolized Gordon Gekko for all the wrong reasons, teenagers may draw the wrong influence from this film.
